Priscilla Ann Blakeley

Priscilla Ann (Jacobs) Blakeley, age 74 of Sanford, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Toni and Trish House. The daughter of the late Nicholas and Beth (Hamlett) Jacobs was born on November 5, 1937 in Enosburg Falls, Vermont and moved to the Midland area at age 13. On April 12, 1955 Priscilla married E. Thomas Blakeley in Sanford. She worked at Tendercare Nursing Home for many years as a Dietary Aide and later became very active as Dietary Aide for the Sanford Senior Center until her retirement, due to poor health, in 2011. She was a member of the Sanford United Methodist Church.

Priscilla is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Russell Thomas Blakeley of Coleman; daughters, Kim (Thomas) Bowland of Sanford and Jill Larkin of Trevose, PA; grandchildren, Trevor (Dawn) Bowland, Kari (Jolan) Budd, Shayne Blakeley, Tiahana Blakeley; four great grandchildren; brother Buzz Jacobs of AZ; sisters, Virginia Riggs of Vermont, Nicky Harris of Connecticut and Terri Vican of Midland; and her precious dog, Chico. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Juna DeGeer, Sharon Kosturick; father and mother-in-law, Edwin "Bud" and Esther Blakeley; and brother-in-law, Neal Blakeley.

Funeral services for Priscilla will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, February 13, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Anthony Cutting of Sanford United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Sanford Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Donations in Priscilla's memory may be offered to Toni & Trish House, MidMichigan Home Health Care or Sanford Senior Center.
