Phyllis Elaine (Livingston) Zink

Phyllis Elaine (Livingston) Zink, age 91 of Sanford, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at home with family. The daughter of the late Roger and Elsie (Wells) Livingston was born July 6, 1933 in Midland County. On June 14, 1952 she was married to Robert H. Zink and enjoy 53 years together. She had been employed by the Meridian Schools for over 20 years. After retirement Phyllis volunteered cooking for several senior centers in Midland. Many years she spent watching her grandchildren playing sports. She especially loved camping with Bob, her friends, family, grandchildren, and her dogs. Her colorful robes worn camping were memorable. She loved playing cards with her friends and telling about their games at the Sanford Senior Center.

Surviving are sons Mike (Barb) Zink of Florida, Ron Zink of Sanford, Gary Zink of Marion, and Brian Zink of Sanford. Brother in law Lee Richards, grandchildren Cliff, (Jessica), Robert, (Kathy), Jared, Mariah, Kayla, Emily, Alex and Casey Mueller.

Per wishes of Mrs. Zink, her body is being donated to the University of Michigan Medical School. Private services have taken place with burial at Midland Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be offered to Mid Michigan Visiting Nurses Association or the Sanford Senior Center.
