Paula L. Elders

Paula L. Elders, age 58 of Sanford and formerly of Midland, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at her residence. Paula was born July 4, 1961, the daughter of Nora B. (Keyworth) Cooper and the late David P. Cooper. Paula had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being with people. Her love of children inspired her to become a day care provider. Paula enjoyed teapots, watching Days of Our Lives and birdwatching.

Paula is survived by her children, James (Jessica) Elders, Kimberly (Jason) Bailey; grandchildren, Evan, Lauren, Landon, Collin, Adeline, Halie, Jasonlee; sister, Treasa Cooper; niece, Autume Cooper; great niece, Sonata Cooper; and sister in law, Roberta Cooper.

In addition to her father, Paula was preceded in death by her brothers, Rodger and Troy Cooper.

In accordance with Paula's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2019 from the Resurrection Life Church, 1849 S. Poseyville Rd. Memorials in Paula's name may be offered to Residential Hospice or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrangements are under the care of the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
