Paul Edward Andrick, 78, passed away Monday morning, August 9, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center after a one year illness. He was born at the family farm on September 23, 1942 to Floyd and Dorothy Andrick. Paul attended Mills and Midland Schools and lived his entire life on the land settled in 1893 by his grandfather, John Andrick. His life work was as a lumberjack for the East Chambers Company which was work that he loved. Paul attended the North Hope Church of God and the Mills Senior Center where he served as the bingo caller. He was an avid deer hunter and looked forward to the season each year.
Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Burt) Andrick; sons, John (Amy) Andrick, Dan (Lindsi) Andrick of Hope; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; stepson, Earl (Kelly) Lewis of Midland and stepdaughter, Patty Wendt. Paul is also survived by two sisters, Beverly Small of Texas and Wilma Thurston of Beaverton; two brothers, Jim (Betty) Andrick of Hope and Floyd Andrick of Midland. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale Andrick; two nephews, James and Bill Andrick; and stepson, Lloyd Wendt.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the New Hope Cemetery Chapel with Floyd Andrick officiating. Burial of his cremains to follow the services and a luncheon will take place at the Hope Townhall. The family requests that instead of flowers or donations, treat a friend to lunch in memory of Paul.
