Paul C. Allen

Paul C. Allen, age 89 of Midland, passed away Monday December 21, 2020 at Medilodge in Midland. The son of the late Walter H. and Emily 0. (Craig) Allen was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on March 24, 1931. Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with the United States Post Office and was a Rural Carrier until retiring in 1986. Paul enjoyed collecting and building miniature trains, traveling with his wife and taking his trains to meet in other cities for the children to enjoy riding. He was a member of the Tri-State Locomotive Club and the Rural Carrier Association.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years the former Marjorie Swailes; sons, Perry (Danette) Allen, Craig (Sylvia) Allen, daughters, Becky (Lyle) Fulton, Penny Dowker; stepsons, Clifton (Carol) Collins, Steven (Patti) Collins; stepdaughter, Connie Shelton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Allen and Paul's first wife of 19 years Bonnie Allen. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Brian Allen; brother, Robert Allen.

Per the wishes of Paul, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later time due to Covid-19 restriction. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice or Midland Cancer Services. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
