Patrick Michael Keenon

Patrick Michael Keenon, age 59, of Midland, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at home. Son of the late Chauncey & Christine (Kidder) Keenon was born June 9, 1954, in Midland. Pat graduated from Dow High School in 1972. He started working for First Automotive of Midland in high school then transferred to Circle Auto in 1999. Pat remained with this company until his death. His unwavering love for taking care of others was felt by all, whether it was his constant help to strangers or to all those he cherished in the quiet of his heart. He was a Farmall tractor and jeep enthusiast. Pat made sure to care for family, friends and neighbors over the years by plowing their driveways.

He is survived by his brother, John L.(Forrestene) Keenon; niece Brittny C. (Tom)Williams and their sons Noah and Gram, stepsisters, Shirley Burlingame & Edith Dopp all of Midland and Romona Bebeau of Oregon. He leaves behind his dearly loved extended family of Lila Hickerson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lillian (Smith) Keenon; stepbrothers, Alton Pelton and James Smith.

Funeral services for Pat will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday January 10, 2014 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland. Pastor David G. Mulder of Homer United Methodist Church will officiate. Cremation will follow and his ashes will be interred in Homer Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
