Patricia A. Wellman

Patricia A. Wellman age 71 of Midland died at her residence on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The daughter of the late Edwin and Nina (Funnell) Field was born on May 25, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant. On October 1, 1959 she married Grover Wellman in Alma and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2004. Pat retired from the Mid Michigan Community Outreach Agency in 1991 as an Outreach Specialist. She enjoyed raising Shih Tzu dogs, camping, fishing and reading.

Pat is survived by her sons, Denny (Melody) Wellman of Rhodes, Pat (Debra Ballard) Wellman of Gladwin, Tony Wellman of Bay City; daughter, Donna (Robert) Mielke of Shepherd; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Terry L. Field and sister, Linda Bennett of Midland.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Steven Wellman; brothers, Edwin Field Jr., Larry Field, Mickey Field, Robert Field; sisters, Laurie Maxwell, Margaret Stewart and Marlene Barnhart.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Friday, March 15, 2013 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Beers of Midland Missionary Church officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Donations in Pat's memory may be offered to MidMichigan Home Care (Hospice) or directly to the family.
