Patricia Marie Burch

Patricia "Pat" Marie (Morgan) Burch, of Midland, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. She was born to the late Lewis and Dorothy Morgan. She graduated from Midland High School. Pat grew up in a family of five brothers and sisters, Dave (Jean) Morgan, Delores Jackson, Dixie (Larry) Finney and Jay (Bev) Morgan. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Gilbert "Gib" Jackson.
In 1956 she married Lyle Burch, with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage. Together they had four children, Judy Wirtz, Mark (Linda) Burch and Susan (Tim) Hagle, all of Midland and Daniel Burch of Bay City.
Pat started her own upholstery business, Pat's Upholstery, which she successfully ran for over 50 years. She was very active in her children's school and extra curricular activities. After her children left home, Pat found her second love, being a grandmother. She has eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren to whom she has always played a major role.
The family will hold a private service at Wilson-Miller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Woodland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant.

Pat meant a great deal to a great many people and will certainly be missed.
