Orel A. Jones

Orel A. Jones, age 95 of Sanford, died Friday September 30, 2011 at Tendercare of Midland. The daughter of the late Wilbur and Vivian (Rogers) Wilson was born on September 4, 1916 in Hartington, Nebraska. Orel resided in California for most of her life until moving to Michigan 33 years ago. She was a bookkeeper for the San Diego County Camp Fire Girls. Orel was married to John K. Jones. He died in February of 1978

Surviving are her sons, Kenneth R. (Karolyn) Jones, John L. (Mary) Jones all of Rozet, Wyoming; daughter, Nancy (Roger) Bacon of Sanford; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Wendell (Phyllis) Wilson of Chula Vista, California; sister in law, Eleanor Wilson; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Orel was preceded in death by brother, Duane Wilson and sister, Virginia Carins.

Per the wishes of Orel cremation has taken place. Interment of her ashes will be in National City, California. Memorial may be offered to the organization of ones choice.
