Onalee B. Johnson

Onalee B. Johnson, age 89 of Midland, passed away March 1, 2021 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late Manley and Gladys Bentley was born July 24, 1931 in Midland. On April 5, 1952 she married Victor L. Johnson in Midland. He preceded her in death in 2018 after 66 years of marriage. Onalee loved being outdoors with her favorite hobbies being gardening, camping, and hunting with her family.

Surviving are her children, Victoria (James) Robinette of Russellville, AL., Lynette Kio of Swartz Creek, MI., and Jared Johnson of Midland, MI.; five grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and siblings Wayne Bentley, Michele Still, and Sharon Graves. In addition to her husband and parents, Onalee was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald Bentley Sr. and Michael Bentley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Private burial will be in Midland City Cemetery. Face coverings are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Memorials in Onalee's name may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association.
