Onalee A. Demsky, age 47 of Midland, died Sunday April 26, 2009, at MidMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late Edward and Fondalee (Dorman) Rinn was born in Midland on June 12, 1961 where she was raised and educated. Onalee graduated from Midland High School in 1979. She graduated from Ferris State University in 2005 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Onalee was employed as a pharmacist at MidMichigan Medical Center. She loved to collect blown glass novelties/figurines and strawberry craft items. She was a devoted fan of the movie Gone with the Wind and had a wonderful sense of humor. Onalee was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Michigan Pharmacist Association. On September 29, 1979 she married Dana Demsky and was very devoted to raising their sons.
Surviving is her husband of 29 years, Dana Demsky; sons, John Dorman Demsky and James Matthew Demsky both of Midland; brothers, Wesley (Julie) Rinn of Sanford, Thorley (Jennifer) Rinn of Tucson, Arizona, Dakley (Staci) Rinn of Midland; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Hadlee, Kimberly, Emily, Ellianna, Benjamin, Megan, Bridget, Macy and Hailey; father and mother in law, Ed & Jean Demsky of Midland; brother in law, Rick (Kathy) Demsky of Otsego; close friends, Heather Shanteau and Julie King. In addition to her parents Onalee was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberlee Rinn.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009 at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Charles Keyworth will officiate. Interment will follow in Midland City Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 8, on Wednesday from 12 noon until 8 pm and at the church Thursday from 1 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to Family Life Radio or Gift of Life.
