Nicholas J. Thomas

Nicholas John Thomas, age 44 of West Branch, "Nick to those who loved him", passed away on Monday January 7, 2024 with his mother, Karen Ferguson and his father, Gary Thomas by his bedside. Nick was born on January 24, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan. He attended school in Bay City and Coleman. Nick was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. When he wasn't hanging with his daughters, he was always outdoors either gardening, planting food plots for the deer or cutting wood for the fireplace. One of Nick's favorite holidays was the 4th of July. If there were fireworks within a fifty-mile radius he would be there. He loved them and wanted all of us to enjoy them with him. Nick was a kind hearted and patient man, with a wonderful smile and the best laugh ever and oh how we will miss him.

In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his 4 beautiful daughters, Jayden (Brenden) Gyulveszi of Clare, Veronica Thomas, Victoria Thomas and Jacklynn Thomas of West Branch; sister, Amanda Fila; nephews, Brady and Landon Fila of Waukesha, Wisconsin; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nicholas chose to donate to Gift of Life and has changed the lives of five families. That was truly Nick, we are so proud of him.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
