Nancy Ann Putnam, age 89, of Midland, MI, died peacefully, Saturday, January 9, 2021 surrounded by her family in Ocala, Florida. The daughter of the late Phillip and Frances was born August 5, 1931 in Saginaw where she was raised and lived until she married the love of her life, Lowell Putnam.
Nancy, a 1949 graduate of Saint Andrews High School, married Lowell on April 25, 1953 at Saint Andrews in Saginaw. She was a member of Saint Brigid of Kildare in Midland where she avidly attended mass each Sunday. A lover of diamonds and leopard print, she will always be remembered for her sense of style, her quick wit and her disapproval of stemless wine glasses. Nancy enjoyed fine dining, shopping and spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by brother Dick, daughters, Lee Ann Putnam, of Dublin, OH, Jane (Dave) Millhisler, of Midland, MI; son, Ken (Pauline) Putnam, of Elgin, IL.
Seven grandchildren also survive; Olivia Putnam, Luke Putnam, Keith (Jamie) Putnam, Cydney Millhisler, Abby (Andrew) Rardin, Alex Millhisler, Amanda (Jamie) Joseph, and five great grandchildren Lainey, Clayton, Lexy, Emelia and James.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Putnam; siblings Gordon, Ditty, Jack, Clayton, Mary, Wally and Tom.
Funeral Services will take place at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 8th at St. Brigid Catholic Church with Father Pat O'Connor as celebrant. The burial will take place at the Midland Municipal Cemetery following the mass. The family will receive friends at the church at 10 A.M. prior to the services.
