Nancy L. Johnson

Nancy L. Johnson, age 78 of Midland, died Saturday afternoon, September 8, 2012 at her residence. The daughter of the late A.D. and Coral (Amidon) Ordiway was born in Durand, Michigan on February 21, 1934. Nancy enjoyed bowling, square dancing, round dancing, crocheting and camping.

Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Ray Johnson of whom she married on November 13, 1954 in Angola, Indiana; sons, Ray "Guy" (Terri Jo) Johnson, Lonnie (Nancy Jo) Johnson, Rex "Willie" Johnson all of Midland; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sibling, Bill (Liz) Ordiway of Alger, Michigan, Jim (Jean) Ordiway of Pinconning, Frank (Pauline) Ordiway, Ruth (Jerry) Johnston all of Midland, Dean (CeCe) Ordiway of Defuniak Springs, Fl., Carl (Barb) Ordiway of Sanford; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by son, Gary L. Johnson and grandson, Tyler Johnson.

Funeral services for Nancy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 13, 2012 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
