Mildred L. Howe

Mildred L. Howe, age 97 of Owosso died Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Midland. The daughter of the late George and Ada (Cobb) Fryfogle was born on February 25, 1914 in Sebring, Ohio. She graduated from Sebring High School and graduated from St. Louis, MI Business College. Mildred had worked as a bookkeeper for the Donahoo Bookkeeping Service in Owosso. On February 22, 1986 she married Ken Howe and he is predeceased. She enjoyed crocheting, hook rugs, sewing and golf.

Mildred is survived by her sister E. Irene Martin of Midland and many nieces and nephews. She also will be missed by her special friend Rose Rapps and her loving dog "Heidi". She was preceded in death by her brother Jack Fryfogle and sister Veneita Naomi Vaughn.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from the Poseyville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Luce, Pastor of the Poseyvillle UMC officiating. Interment will be in Poseyville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Poseyville United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
