Micheal L. Gutchak

Micheal L. Gutchak age 60 of Clare died at his residence on Friday, December 27, 2013.
The son of the late Carl and Vernell (Hancock) Gutchak was born on May 11, 1953 in Midland where he was raised and educated, graduating from Midland High School in 1972. On September 22, 1973 he married the former Gayle Norris. Mike worked for Helger Construction Company from 1973 to 2010. Mike, along with his three sons, owned and operated G-4 Excavating. He enjoyed being a Scout Master for Troop 620 in Clare and working with the Clare Little League Concessions. Mike enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved animals, especially his dog Mr. Darby. Mike also enjoyed spending time in Davenport, Florida.

Mike is survived by his wife, Gayle Gutchak; sons, Robert (Jacquie) Gutchak, Ryan (friend Julie Williams) Gutchak and Rory (Katie) Gutchak all of Farwell. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Carlie, Thomas, Emily and Blake; his brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Gutchak of Midland and sister Linda (Robert) Smith of Gladwin.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Nola Gutchak.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday January 4, 2014 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with interment in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service.
