Michael P. Vinson

Michael P. Vinson, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Midland at age 61. He was born on June 15, 1960 in Bay City. Mike served honorably in the United States Army from 1988 to 1999. On October 1, 1983, Mike married the former Bonnie Sikora in Shields, MI. Mike was employed with the United States Postal System since 2001 and was getting ready to retire. He enjoyed doing many outdoors activities, playing backgammon, euchre, reading books, and music with family and friends.

Surviving Mike is his wife Bonnie; their children, Paul (Crystal) Vinson, Chad Vinson, Joseph Vinson (fiancée, Marissa Wisinski), Kimberly Vinson (boyfriend, Thomas Ralph), 3 grandchildren, Heather and Amber Conklin, Aiden Vinson; siblings, Susan (Randy) Wells, Terri Hudson, Vernon (Shelly) Vinson, Linda (Doyle) Harris, Brenda (Don) Host; and mother in law, Shirley Sikora.

&Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Vinson; parents, Laurence Vinson and Eunice (Duanne) Chapman.

Services to celebrate Mike's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
