Michael J. Ray

Michael James Ray, age 73 of Midland, went home to Jesus on Saturday June 1, 2024 at Medilodge of Midland. The son of the late Russell J. and Phyllis I. (Rogers) Ray was born in Midland on August 17, 1950. Mike worked for a local scrap yard for many years. He took great pride in his work, sorting scrap metals and other items. Mike enjoyed attending church when he was able. He lived a simple life.

Surviving are his children, Sandra Ray and her fiancé Bradley Baublitz of Breckenridge, Mike (Heather) Ray, Brian Ray all of Alma; grandchildren, Shree (Joel) Martinez, Blair, Jason and Kayn; 3 great grandbabies, Everett, Emerson and Eiden; siblings, Sharon (Kirk) Hall, Betty Jo (Dale) Seelye, Charles (Teresa) Ray all of Midland; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Ray

Per the wishes of Mike, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
