Michael J. Bechtel

Michael J. Bechtel, age 71 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at his residence. The son of the late Darwin and Glanis (Doehring) Bechtel was born in Midland on April 8, 1947. He had been employed at Midland Manor and drove truck for Tri City Oil. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and in his earlier years playing softball for Pomranky and Long Branch Saloon. He also enjoyed meeting his friends at Lil' Chef for coffee.

Surviving is his son, Jim Bechtel; daughters, Tammy (Rex) Rolley, Tracy (Joe) Bechtel; grandchildren, Cody, Cami; brother, Ivan (Terry) Bechtel. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by brothers, Darwin and Lyle.
