Michael Stewart Allen

Michael Stewart Allen, age 62 of Beaverton, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at home with his family at his side. He was born in Midland on February 15, 1960 to the late Lyle Allen and Beverly Yarger. Michael was raised by his mother and Donald Lee after his father passed away. He served his country honorably with the United States Army. Michael married the former Janet Stortz on June 12, 1982 in Sarasota, Florida.

Mike was a "jack of all trades" and had many different skills. He worked many years at Oil City Sales with Paul Dintenman. Mike's passion was motorcycles and he spent as much time as he could riding and fixing his bikes. He was a great friend and had many lifelong friendships. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids who affectionately called him "Papa".

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Janet Allen; children, Randy (Emily) Allen; Renea (Tyron) Ortiz, Teresa (Todd) Pfenninger; grandchildren, Cody and Karlee Ortiz, Lexi and Maddox Pfenninger, Benjamin and Jacob Allen; siblings, Laura (Joe) Bovee, Glenda (Ken) Lesh, Tina (Tom) Krzysik, Hal Allen; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael's family would like to thank both the VA and Compassus Hospice for the care Michael has received from them.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 pm until the time of service.
