Melvin H. Donahue, Sr.

Melvin H. Donahue, Sr., age 75 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday December 5, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center. The son of the late Donald E. and Laura (McLaren) Donahue, Sr. was born in Midland on November 10. 1949 where he was raised and educated. Melvin had been employed as an operator for OmniSource in Bay City, retiring in 2015 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed collecting big machinery, working around his yard doing landscape, working on old cars especially his Buick Grand National and camping. Melvin was a member of the Buick Grand National Car club and the NRA.

Surviving is his son, Melvin H. (Lisa) Donahue, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael (Autumn) Kronsberg, Austin Donahue and Kyle Kronsberg, JoJo, Samantha, John Luke Coffey; great grandchildren, Brantley, Asher, Lorelei, Alexus and Brooklyn; brothers, Ron Donahue, Jim Donahue, Tom Donahue, Paul (Kim) Donahue, Kathy Donahue, Cheryl Donahue, Laura Donahue; best friend and companion, Linda Jackson; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Coffey; brothers, Dale and Donald Donahue and sister, Mary Donahue

Family will receive guests at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Saturday December 7, 2024 from 2 until 6:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be directed to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
