Megan A. Walters

Megan A. Walters, age 22 of Midland, died Wednesday December 9, 2009. The daughter of Timothy Walters and Marilyn (Brewer) Walters was born in Lansing on March 5, 1987. Megan graduated from Dow High School in 2006 and then attended classes at Delta College where she received a certificate of completion in CENA. She enjoyed playing the violin, basketball, playing disc golf, scrapbooking, reading and was an avid animal lover. Megan also enjoyed camping, being outdoors, decorating for the holidays and listening to Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur. Megan was a very loving and caring daughter, sister and niece.

Surviving is her mother Marilyn Walters of Midland; father, Tim Walters of Howell, Michigan; brothers, Kevin Walters and his fiancé, Caila Blackwell of Ypsilanti, Peter Walters of Midland; nephew, Cameron Walters; grandmother, Margaret Brewer of Midland; step grandmother, Dolores Walters of Brighton; special aunt and uncle, Diane & Michael Dalton of Midland; many others aunt, uncles and cousins and her 2 cats, Corrinder, Mr. Bigelsworth. Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Brewer, John and Philomena Walters.

Funeral services will take place 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2009 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Shidler and Pastor Doug Mater will officiate. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Shelter House or the Midland County Human Society.
