Maxine A. Siebert

Maxine A. Siebert, passed away on August 29, 2024 and is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Maxine was born in Bay City on July 17, 1938 to the late Ernest and Mary (Bell) Behmlander. She married Gerald (Jerry) Siebert in June of 1956. Maxine was an avid fan of the Great Lakes Loons.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Jerry; her children, Penny (Randy) Riggie, Bruce (Nancy) Siebert, Barb (Ron) Arneson. She was a loving grandmother to Trina (Shawn), Michael, Allan (Ashley), Theresa (Jon), Jessie (Aaron), Brian (Stephanie), Lindsey, Aaron (Kelly), Jordan (Sarah), Mary (Nathan), and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Lange; brother in-law, Bob Hemmingway; sister in-law, Evelyn (Jerry) Todd; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her siblings, Roy (Pauline) Behmlander, Mary Hemmingway, Dale (MaryLou) Behmlander, and Raymond (Myrna) Behmlander.

Funeral services for Maxine will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Lord of New Life Lutheran Church, 3021 E. Hubbard Rd. Midland, MI 48642. Pastor Carl Trosien will officiate with private burial to be in Midland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640 and on Sunday at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to Lord of New Life Lutheran Church.
