Maryanne Stoddard

Maryanne Stoddard, age 74 of Midland died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Stratford Village. The daughter of the late Delbert and Mary (Woods) Roberson was born on November 15, 1940 in Midland where she was raised and educated, graduating from Midland High School in 1959. After graduation, Maryanne worked for Hemlock Semiconductor, where she met her future husband, David L. Stoddard, whom she married on September 29, 1962. David predeceased her on August 18, 1989. Maryanne was an active member of the Poseyille United Methodist Church and sang with the choir in her earlier years. She was a former member of the Studley Grange and enjoyed sewing and reading.

Maryanne is survived her sons: Eric (Czarina) Stoddard of Hawaii, Brian Stoddard of Midland, Kurt Stoddard of Farmington Hills and her daughter Mary K. (Lloyd) Stoddard-Gore of Washington, DC; grandchildren Erica Stoddard, Solomon Stoddard, Joshuah Stoddard, Nathan Stoddard, Haley Stoddard, Ashleigh Stoddard, David Gore and one great granddaughter Emma Evans. She is also survived by brothers Robert (Judy) Roberson and Tad (Sally) Roberson and was predeceased by one brother Larry Roberson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday August 5, 2015 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Price officiating. Interment will be in Poseyville Cemetery and visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service. Memorials may be offered to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
