Mary Jane Wallace

Mary J. (Haney) Wallace, age 81 of Midland died Friday, January 8, 2010 at Tendercare in Mt. Pleasant.
The daughter of the late Clarence and Eva (Mangus) Haney was born October 20, 1928 in Midland where she was raised and educated.
Mary married Robert Wallace on February 8, 1946. Robert died January 21, 1996, just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mary loved knitting and doing word searches. She especially cared for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Robert) Bauer of Shepherd; grandchildren, Jody Staudacher, Elizabeth Fick, Vannessa LeJuene, Robert Bauer, II; great grandchildren, Cassie, Meikah, Logan, Angela; -5- step great grandchildren in Texas; and sister in law, Jean Haney.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Tony Haney.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 11, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Shidler, Chaplain of Heartland Hospice officiating.
Interment will follow in Homer Township Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to Heartland Hospice.
