Mary Anne Siegel

Mary Anne (Richmond) Siegel, age 80 of Midland, died Saturday morning December 1, 2012 at her residence. The daughter of the late Bethel and Lucille (Harris) Richmond was born in Coleman on April 30, 1932. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, reading, card games collecting animal figurines and spending time with her children & grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband of 53 years Walter Siegel, Jr. of whom she married on December 22, 1958; her children, Walter "Ike" Siegel, Bethel "Buzz" (Lillian) Seigel, all of Sanford, Mary Siegel, Colleen (Gregg) Siegel Umbarger all of Grand Rapids, Kim Siegel, Jim Siegel both of Sanford, Teri (Jackson) Chia of Midland; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Judy (George) McCann of Midland; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mary Anne was preceded in death by brothers, Morgan, Bill, Donald, George, Bethel and Albert Richmond; sisters, Pauline Card and Nancy Waite.

Funeral services will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 5, 2012 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Pastor Don Duford will officiate. Interment will follow in Jerome Township Cemetery Sanford. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe offered in honor of Mary Anne to the American Cancer Society.
