Mary Ellen (Hubert) Stevens

Mary Ellen (Hubert) Stevens, age 82 of Sanford, passed away Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at MyMichigan Health in Midland. She was born on April 10th, 1940 in Midland to the late John and Helen (Crower) Hubert. She was united in marriage with Dale Stevens on April 28th, 1962 and they spent 60 wonderful years together. Mary retired from the City of Midland where she worked in many different departments. She loved being outdoors and participated in all outdoor activities with fishing being her favorite.

Surviving is her husband, Dale Stevens of Sanford; brothers John and Frederick Hubert of Midland; sister, Rosalie (Maurice) Miller of Midland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister in-law, Martha (Snyder) Hubert and many aunts and uncles.

The Funeral Liturgy for Mary will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Sanford. Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-8pm and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Burial will be held at a later date in Homer Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, or to an organization of the donor's choice.
