Martin L. Schultz, age 80 of Midland, passed away Thursday April 13, 2017 at his residence. The son of the late Emil and Hildegarde (Pretzer) Schultz was born in Hemlock on August 30, 1936. Martin served in the United States Army. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, enjoyed repairing things, playing golf, the many winters in Florida and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years the former Jane A. Shudark of whom he married on May 2, 1959 in Hemlock; sons, Michael Schultz, Blaine (Laura) Schultz; grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Isaac and Derick Schultz; sisters, Doris Reimer, Lois Frost, Joyce (Fred) Crosby, Jane (Daryl) Tessin; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Carl, Edwin Schultz, Larry and Kenneth Kleppert.
