Marjorie Hazzard (Potter), age 90 of Linwood, passed away December 11, 2025 at home with her family by her side. Marge was born November 14, 1935 in Bentley Township, MI to the late Dorus and Marguerite Potter.
On October 1, 1960, she married the love of her life, Phil Hazzard, and together they were blessed with three sons – Brian, Brent and Brad.
Marge was dedicated in her faith and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Midland and taught Sunday School to children. She was a member of the Midland Christian Women’s Group.
Over the years, Marge was known as the Demo Lady of Midland, handing out free food samples, making friends and memories at Meijers, Kroger’s, and Farmer Jack’s.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Karen of Owosso; Brent and Brad of Linwood; sisters-in-law, Marie Potter of Pinconning and Mary Ann Bowden; special friends, Pat Hartnagal, Barb Buckner, and Jean DeLano. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Phil; her brother, Orville Potter; and brother-in-law, Sam Bowden.
Friends may call at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home, located at 4210 N. Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640, on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1:00pm-8:00pm. On Monday, Marge will lie in state at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 6100 Perrine Rd, Midland, MI 48640 from 10:00 am with a service at 11:00am.
