Marie P. Hill

Marie P. (Little) Hill, age 84 died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Toni & Trish House, surrounded by her family.
The daughter of the late William and Luella (Chapin) Little was born September 21, 1926 in Midland where she was raised and educated. On August 25, 1960 she married Lawrence Hill in Midland and he predeceased her on July 14, 1987. Marie was devoted to her family and enjoyed playing cards with gatherings of nephews, nieces and friends at Green Hill Apartments. Marie was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed camping and gardening in her younger years.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her grandchildren, Troy (Kriss) Dowling of Midland, Tara (David) Lilley of Saline; great grandchild, Cortney Sweebe of Midland; sisters, Nyla Little, Diana (Chuck) Scribner; sisters-in-law, Ladonna Little, Mary Louise Little; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her daughter and son in law, Nancy and Martin Dowling Jr.; brothers, James, Anderson, Donald, Everett and Larry Little.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hill will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, April 21, 2011 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend James F. Shanks of Eagle Ridge Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Toni & Trish House.
