Marguerite "Peggy" A. Young

Marguerite "Peggy" A. Young, age 83 of Midland, died Tuesday September 9, 2014 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late Andrew and Edna (Seely) Thomas was born in Homer Township on May 10, 1931 where she was raised and educated. On November 4, 1949, Peggy married Otto E. Young and after 63 years of marriage he died on July 11, 2013.

Surviving are her sons, David (Nancy) Young, Thomas (Jackie) Young all of Midland; grandchildren, Benjamin (Patricia) Young, Mark Young; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Phylis Young of Sanford; brothers in law, Curly (Bev) Young, Butch (Judy) Young, Buck (Lois) Young; sisters in law, Eva (Don) Searfoss, Sue (Phouc) Searfoss; many nieces and nephews.

In keep with Peggy's wishes cremation has taken place and a private burial of her ashes will be in Homer Township Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to Greendale Senior Services.
