Margret C. Pnacek

Margret C. (Laplow) Pnacek, age 85 of Midland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2018 with her loving family by her side. The daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Ostrander Laplow was born January 29, 1933 in Mills Township. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, watching game shows, putting together puzzles, working in her garden and being with her grandchildren. Margret was a member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church

Margret is survived by her sons, Leo "Pete" (Cindy) Pnacek, Thomas Pnacek; daughters, Debbie Pnacek, Diane (Brent) Pretzlaff, Jane (Peter) Mann, Laura (Jason) Trombley; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Ruth) Laplow, Jim (Judy) Laplow; sisters, Delores Potts, Doris Mendyke; her dog Benji. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Leo who died in November of 1991, Margret was also preceded in death by her son Daniel Pnacek.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Andy Booms as celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow in New Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of mass. A parish wake service will be held for Margret at 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials in Margret's name may be offered to American Home Health and Hospice.
