Margaret E. Eastman

Margaret E. Eastman, age 92 of Midland, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 17, 2019 at Candlestone Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late Marion and Rita (Cassiday) Gray was born in Midland on March 9, 1927. Margaret married Norman Eastman on October 9, 1943 and together they raised 3 children, Rita Turrell of Midland, Riva Torres of Albright Shores, and Brent Eastman of Six Lakes, Michigan. They were blessed with 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. Norman passed away on April 17, 2009.

Margaret and Norman made their home in many places, Alberta, Canada, Mexico and Arizona to name a few. Her favorite home was the farm where some of her best memories were made with family over large meals (she was an awesome cook and baker) and where she enjoyed the view and many adventures. Margaret touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Per the wishes of Margaret, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family graveside service at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
