Margaret "Peggy" Ann Mcgee

Margaret (Peggy) Ann McGee, 80, formerly of Midland passed away on October 5th, 2016. Peggy was born August 29th, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Walter Park and Katherine Lorraine (Dorsey) Parish. Her husband, Thomas Warren McGee preceded her in death on March 6th, 2006.

Peggy had many hobbies; duplicate bridge, soccer, cribbage, sewing, stamp collecting and antique furniture refinishing. Her biggest pride was her accomplishment as a quilter, having made over 40 quilts, and her biggest joy was her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children Michael (Christine) from Denver, CO, Christopher (Tara) from Ashland, OR, Daniel from Ashland, OR, Katherine (Thomas) Lanigan from Plymouth, MI, and Mark (Amanda) from Columbus, OH. There are eight grandchildren: Stephanie, Taylor, Thomas, Maggie, Zoe, Riley, Grant, Finnian, Erinn and Neal and one great grandchild, Anthony.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00, Saturday, October 8th, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow in New Calvary Cemetery.

Family will meet with friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 pm with a Christian Vigil service held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
