Majid Zarisfi, MD, age 91, of Midland, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, April 4, 2025. Born in Kerman, Iran, to the late Mohammad and Sakineh (Adib) Zarisfi, Majid pursued a long and distinguished career as a well-respected surgeon, bringing his clinical expertise and philanthropy to many. His passion for knowledge extended beyond medicine, encompassing a deep appreciation for literature, poetry, and music. Majid loved life and enjoyed immersing himself in nature and experiencing the world through travel.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Galintaj Ejlali; his children, Afrooz (Daryoosh) Beigzadeh and Faraz (Tracy) Zarisfi; his cherished grandchildren, Keon, Kimia, Pari, and Suri, and his loved siblings, Nezhat, Hamid, and Asghar.
A celebration of Majid's life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Kyran J. Miller Room.
