Lyle Edward Burch

Lyle Edward Burch, 78, of Midland, passed away Monday evening, January 13, 2014 at Woodland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant.
He was born June 27, 1935, son of the late Miles and Ellen (Feaster) Burch. On February 25, 1956 he married the late Patricia Morgan with whom he shared 56 happy years. Lyle served as a member of the National Guard and then retired from Dow Chemical Co. after 39 years in the mail department. Lyle enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Many days he could be found working his land with a tractor or cheering his favorite Nascar drivers. Lyle was a residential home builder and along with his son built several homes in Midland County.
Lyle is survived by his children, Judy Wirtz of Midland, Daniel Burch of Bay City, Mark (Linda) Burch and Susan (Tim) Hagle of Midland, along with eight grand children and nine great-grandchildren. Lyle is also survived by his sister Beverly Bladecki and his close friend Jeff Cole.
Funeral services for Lyle will be conducted on Friday, 11:00 am, January 17, 2014 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Becknell and Pastor Mark Beers of Midland Missionary Church officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
