Luana Marie Bigalke

The angels took Luana Marie Bigalke to heaven at 3:15am Wednesday Febuary 02, 2011. She died peacefully at the U of M hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Tommah, Wisconsin on July 31, 1962. She moved to Essexville, Michigan in 1965 and currently resided in Midland, MI with her son Wesley and her two cats. She was a dedicated child care provider who just loved to take care of children. One of her main passions in life was watching and critiquing sports.

Luana is survived by her two sons Specialist Evan Bigalke who serves in the military and Wesley Bigalke who lived with her at home; her parents Gordon and Judy Bigalke of Essexville; her brother Joel (Dreama) Bigalke of Columbus, Ohio; and her sister Wendy (Tom) Banaszak of Kokomo, Indiana; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 12, 2011 from St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Dale Orlik as celebrant. Family will meet with friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
