Louanne K. Klonowski

June 9, 1939 — May 13, 2020

Louanne Kay Klonowski, age 80 of Beaverton, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Gultz) Proux was born June 9, 1939 in Saginaw where she was raised and educated. On February 7, 1959, she married John A. Klonowski. After nearly 50 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on June 15, 2007. Louanne was a devout member of St. Annes Catholic Church in Edenville. She was a master at playing Euchre, Bocce Ball, croqueting and was a kickball coach at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. She loved her family, comforting them with many delicious meals.


Louanne was a loving mother to Beth (Chip) Banks, Jan (John) Reitman, Diane (David) Surprenant, and John Klonowski; loving grandma, David, John, Scott, Katie, Krista, Lauren, Kailyn, John; loving nama of Sara, Kairi, Charlotte, Harper, Lyla; and loving sister of George and Bob Proux.


In addition to her parents and husband, Louanne was preceded in death by her siblings; Marie, Marcy, Maureen, Walt, and Butch.


Private funeral services have been held with burial next to her husband in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society. Personal messages of condolence may be offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com.
