LouAnn "Nutsy" (Schaefer) LaBerge, age 64 of Midland, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 surrounded by family. LouAnn was born in Midland on June 7th, 1953. Lou loved nature. She loved to hunt and she loved living in the woods. She treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and all her many friends. She loved all animals and breeds and raised miniature schnauzers. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are her husband, Randy LaBerge; her dad, Norman (Pops) Herman; sons, Joe Compton and Debbie King, Jeff (Jennifer) Compton, and Jamie (Jamie) Compton; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A celebration of LouAnn's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home were family and friends will share wonderful memories of her. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Memorials in Lou's name may be offered to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway Suite 480 Columbia, MD 21044.
