Louann Lynn Gonzalez, age 71 of Midland, passed away at her home on February 10, 2026. Her kind spirit and contagious laugh brought comfort to all who knew her.

She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 16, 1954 to the late Elmer and Monica (Corbat) Bluemer. It was in 1971 when she met her high school sweetheart, Mark Gonzalez. They were married on July 28, 1973 and nurtured a union of 52 years based on love, trust and commitment.

Louann was a loving mother to Lisa Lennox (George), Stacy Lamb (Don), and Rita Gonzalez. She took great pride in her role as grandma to Andrew Gonzalez (Kelly), Kevin Farrand, Cameron Farrand, Courtney Farrand (James), Raegan Lamb, Zachary Lennox, Olivia Lennox; and great grandma to Lily, Sage, and Tyson Gonzalez. She will also be remembered by her siblings, Jim Bluemer (Sue), Emily Bluemer (Carolyn), Dannie Hickson (Bob), and Peggy Pavlik.

Louann was a clever person who loved doing crosswords puzzles, watching jeopardy, and enlightening those who would listen with random trivia. She and her best friend, Marietta Coleman, enjoyed their trips to the casino. An avid sports fan, she loved going to Loons games and loved her Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Michigan State Spartans. Louann was a great cook and specialized in comfort food, something she passed down to her children.

Louann’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Wilson Miller Funeral Home. Pastor David Kissinger will officiate with private burial to be in Homer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until her funeral service. Memorial contributions may be offered to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Make A Wish Foundation.
