Lottie M. "Charlotte" Heikkila

Lottie M. "Charlotte" Heikkila age 89 of Midland died Thursday December 19, 2013 at Tendercare of Midland. The daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Feathers) Glynn was born on February 26, 1924. On November 7, 1947 she married Mr. Norman Heikkila and he predeceased her in 1988. Charlotte was a homemaker and was busy raising her family and enjoyed having friends and family visit her. She and her husband wintered in Florida for many years and she was a former member of Daniel's Band Church.

Charlotte is survived by a son, Daniel Soper of Midland; daughters Hazel Parsons of Beaverton, Joann (Erling) Bruun of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Audrey Heikkila of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Mary Soper; brother, Charles "Frank" Glynn;13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and will be missed by special friends, Bernadine Soper and Mary Soper. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Soper, brothers Donald and Lester Glynn; sister Ruth Beebe.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday December 23, 2013 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Allen Campbell, Pastor of North Point Ministries officiating. Interment will be in Homer Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8: 00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service.
