Lois Fern Metz

Lois Fern Metz, 102 years old, of Sanford, Michigan and formerly of Osceola Indiana, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at Meridian Acres in Sanford Michigan. Lois was born on July 4th, 1921, in Twelve Mile, Indiana to Marvin and Helen (Bashore) Grable.  She was married on January 28th, 1942, in Denver, Indiana to Paul J. Metz, who predeceased her in 1982.

Surviving is a daughter, Cheryl (John) Sabol and a son, Gary (Arlene) Metz.  Also, there are 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister, Diana James.

She lived most of her life in Osceola, Indiana, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
