Lloyd M. "Papa" Roberts

Lloyd M. "Papa" Roberts, age 72 of Sanford, died Friday evening July 15, 2011 at Tendercare of Midland. The son of the late Mitchell and Lela (Phillips) Roberts was born in Monterey, Tennessee on June 1, 1939. Lloyd had been a truck driver for 20 years and then installed window blinds for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Lloyd is survived by his of 54 years Clara; son, Tim Roberts of Bridgeport; daughter, Sue (Steve) Pargo of Waterford; grandchildren, Michael Roberts, Joey & Danny Pargo, Hannah Roberts fiancé, Bob Swan, Amy (Ben) Malanga, Theresa Pargo and friend, Doug Webber; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Roberts of Saginaw; sister, Helen (Tom) Moore of Springboro, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; brother in law, Bob Withers of Xenia, Ohio. In addition to his parents Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother, Boyd Roberts.

Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place Tuesday evening July 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. from Sanford First Baptist Church.
