Linda S. (Gutchak) Smith, age 68 of Gladwin, died Sunday December 25, 2016 at her residence surround be her family. The daughter of the late Carl and Vernell (Hancock) Gutchak was born in Midland on November 28, 1948 where she was raised and educated. Linda spent 100 % of her time taking care of her family, going to her grandchildren's sporting events and just enjoyed life. She was always willing to help others.
Surviving is her husband of 48 years Robert Smith of whom she married on May 11, 1968 in Midland; children, Cindy Johnson, Brad (April) Smith, Lisa Smith and her companion Pat Lagalo, Amanda (Curtis) Dare; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Thom (Dorothy) Gutchak; sister in law, Gayle Gutchak; special friend, Rebekah Winchester. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Gutchak.
