Linda L. Moss

Linda L. Moss, age 76 of Wixon Lake, passed away on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at her residence. The daughter of the late Richard P. and Gennelle (Wilson) Holycross was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on June 15, 1941. Linda owned and operated Baby's in Toyland in Sanford for over 15 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crotcheting and knitting of which she made many hats for kids in the UP touching the lives of many children, gardening, growing flowers, bird watching especially hummingbirds, but most of all spending time with her family and grandkids. On July 12, 1958 in Covington, Kentucky she married her high school sweetheart Jerry T. Moss and after almost 56 years of marriage he passed away on April 22, 2014.

Surviving are her daughters, Pricilla (Tom) Corey, DeAnna Gary and fiance Don Miller all of Wixom Lake; grandchildren, Tyler (Kristy) Moss, Jared (Devin) Young, Casey (Tiffany) Young, Ashley (Matt Brown) Corey; great grandchildren, Hunter, Kyler, Sophia, Ellie, Harper, Gage, Alana, Colton; brothers and sisters in laws, Bob (Deloris) McKellar, Genna Ann (Wayne) Hall, Sue Whitmer, Otis Whitehouse, Judy Holycross. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Moss, granddaughter, Melissa Edwards; son in law, Mark Gary.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 5, 2018 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in New Edenville Township Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday from 4 till 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to MidMichigan Home Care (Hospice) or the Midland Shelter House.
