Linda K. Smith

On December 4, 2011 the wings of angels took Linda K. Smith (61) to her heavenly home and back to the arms of her loving parents. Linda resided at the Laurels Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant at the time of her death. Ms. Smith struggled with health issues for many years.
Linda was born December 31, 1950 in Midland to the late Norman & Beatrice (Howe) Smith. She was a graduate of Midland High School. Much of Linda's time was spent listening to her music.
Ms. Smith is survived by her sister Deniece (Don) Starin, brother David (Pennie) Smith of Kalamazoo, Aunts Ruth Stark, Iva June (John) Meeder of California, Nieces Dawn (Scott) Syrowik & Amy (Dirk) Lamee and nephews Jason (Kristy) Smith of Kalamazoo & Brandon Smith of Kalamazoo.
According to Linda's wishes cremation has already taken place. A grave side service will be held at Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Monday Dec. 19 at 11:00 AM.
