Linda Sue (Cochran) Lebeau

Linda Sue (Cochran) LeBeau, born Feb 19, 1946, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 after a brief illness.

Linda, 'Cookie' to those who knew her well, was a lifelong resident of Midland County. She married Richard John LeBeau March 18, 1988.  She retired from the Midland County Sheriff Department in 1992.

Cookie was most known for her cooking, canning, and baking abilities and loved to provide homemade goods to all who knew her. She was proud of her Native American heritage and worked hard to ensure her family felt the same.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Laura Cochran, sisters M. Kay Sosnowski and Janet Archer and her brother and sister-in-law, G. Mick and Elzora Cochran.

She is survived by her husband Richard, children, Danelle Tighe, David (Tammy) DeKett, and Melissa (Josh) Grove, and her step children Anne LeBeau, Aimee (Bruce) Matthews, and E.J. LeBeau. She also is survived by 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Sunday, December 15, from 5:00-8:00 PM and Monday, December 16 at 10:00 until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at the Wilson-Miller Funeral Home.
