Lexie Lu Wilkins

Lexie Lu Wilkins, age 61 of Edenville died at her residence on Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
The daughter of the late Luther and Marjorie (Wolverton) Seelhoff was born on December 29, 1950 in Reed City. On May 6, 1972 she married Mark Wilkins in Midland. Lexie worked for the Midland Public Schools as a para pro for twenty years. She then joined her husband, as secretary, in the family business of L&M Manufacturing, Inc. (manufactures of Midlander Boat Lifts), a position she held for the past twelve years. Lexie enjoyed playing cards, going to off road races and to casinos. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with friends and family at their cottage at Houghton Lake. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Lexie is survived by her husband Mark; her son, Chad (Amy) Wilkins of Midland; her daughter, Heather (Joseph) Rinas of Sanford; grandchildren; Gabby Wilkins, Ben Rinas and Jade Rinas. She will also be missed by her brothers, Kim (Mary) Seelhoff, Kevin Seelhoff, Kurt Seelhoff; and sisters, Cindy Seelhoff and Keri (Gene) Husen.

Funeral service for Lexie will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, August 24, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Edenville Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service. Memorials may be offered to Cancer Services, 220 W.
