Laurence Frederick Moon Jr.

Laurence Frederick Moon Jr., age 69 of Beaverton, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center. The son of the late Laurence F. Moon Sr. and Eva (Knapp) Courtney was born in Midland on October 28, 1952. Laurence was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and going on walks with his best friend, Glenn Elsea. He was always watching westerns, particularly John Wayne, going to garage sales, and barbeques. He will be remembered for his love of all animals, great sense of humor and his bellowing laugh.

Surviving are his children, Laurence (Tina) Moon Jr., Daniel Moon; grandchildren, Heather, Danielle, Syla; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Joselyn, Nevaeh; brother, Roger Moon; sisters, Anna Field (Glenn Elsea), Vicky Moon (Joe Spencer); many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and the many great friends he made during his life. In addition to his parents, Laurence was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Moon.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. In his memory, the family asks that you do something that Laurence loved. Memorial contributions may be offered to his family.
