Laura M. Clark, age 93 of Midland died Monday, August 15, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Wiley and Mary (Alligar) Pickens was born September 19, 1922 in Midland where she was raised and educated. Laura married John V. Clark December 19, 1939 in Midland. After 53 years of marriage John predeceased his wife March 20, 1993.
Laura had a heart of gold, was a hard working loving mother; To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her son Victor "Blain" Clark; daughters Wanetta Skutt, Nola (Michael) Griffin; -7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother Milton Pickens; sisters Emma Watkins and Elsie Dubay. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son Ronald Clark.
Funeral services for Laura will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, August 18, 2016 from Floyd Church of God with Reverend Andrew M. Scheller officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
